Barakah is a community loyalty program that connects participating businesses with Barakah members. Businesses provide members with an exclusive discount or special offer, while the program helps generate ongoing support for youth programs and community development through Sadaqah Jariyah.

There is no cost to join. We ask participating businesses to offer Barakah members a discount or special offer. Donations to the CYD Center to support youth programs are always welcome.

Yes. You may establish reasonable conditions, such as minimum purchase requirements, eligible products, specific days, slow-hour promotions, catering exclusions, or exclusions during certain periods. All terms must be clearly communicated and consistently honoured by your staff.

Yes. Email info@joinbarakah.com before making a change so your website profile and promotional materials remain accurate. Changes are normally implemented within two to three business days.

Members present their physical or digital Barakah identification when making a purchase. Your staff confirms their membership and applies the offer according to the terms listed on your Barakah business profile.

The business owner or manager is responsible for ensuring employees understand what the Barakah tag looks like, the offer provided, how it is redeemed, any conditions or exclusions, and who to contact with questions. Keeping staff informed is essential so Barakah members are not refused or given conflicting information.

Barakah cannot guarantee a specific number of customers or sales. However, participating businesses receive additional visibility through the Barakah website, member network, tag QR code, and community marketing. The program helps members discover businesses while building awareness and goodwill over time.

Yes. Online stores, professionals, and service-based businesses may apply when they have a clearly defined member benefit. At present, Barakah offers are redeemed in store; online and third-party app redemption are not yet available.

Businesses will generally be asked to provide business name and information, a logo and business photos, the details and conditions of the Barakah offer, and owner or authorized representative information.

Businesses must follow Islamic guidelines in their practice and trade. Products must be compliant with Islamic law and cannot contain prohibited components, including pork, alcohol, or non-halal meat. A specialized CYD committee reviews submitted applications and confirms with businesses once approved.

Our team reviews your application and contacts you once approved to welcome you into the Barakah family and schedule delivery of the Barakah business kit.

Barakah offers are currently applicable in store only. Offers cannot be applied to online orders or through third-party apps at this time.

Barakah contributions help keep the lights on by covering operational expenses that allow the CYD Center to continue providing regular services to the community.

Customers must show their Barakah tag to redeem an offer. If they do not have a tag, businesses have the right to decline the offer.

Joining Barakah and publishing your offer is free — you are never required to make a monthly payment. If you have chosen to make an optional monthly support contribution to CYD through the Zeffy form, use your Zeffy confirmation email or contact Barakah for help with payment changes or cancellation.
